Project!

Several of us are starting a project down here in San Diego, we're going to try building a Mario-themed dining table complete with six individual character chairs. The concept was conceived late last night and already today we've shopped around to see what kind of wood we want and how we plan on putting everything together. Tomorrow is the first actual construction day and we plan on having the table top done by Friday. I'll be documenting this entire process with pictures and hopefully we can all take a group picture at the end with the finished product.


In other news, I can't believe the Celtics are up 2-0 against the Magic but then again, I don't really care that much either. Am I routing for the Celtics? Yeah. Do I care if they don't win? No. All I really care about is that the Lakers don't win.

Hawaii is in less than two weeks and I'll be writing up a trip report as usual for my travels. I feel like this trip is going to be rushed because I'll only be there for four days and three nights. I feel like I could stay there for a week because I really need a vacation. This month has been really rough financially, nothing has been going right in poker. I'm taking the rest of the month of to build the Mario dining table and just clearing my head. After I come back from Hawaii, it's full steam ahead for a week in Vegas. I really hope to do well for Brett Co. investors, it sure would be nice to exceed the earnings from last year (although I wouldn't bank on it). If all goes well in June, I'll be returning for the full month of July. I'm not sure if Brett Co. will be open for that yet, but either way I'm so excited that the WSOP will be starting in 10 days!
